  1. Help: Confirm your telephone setup; change options.

  3. In order to confirm your telephone setup, we need to know exactly how you make a toll-free call from your phone.

  5. People who are calling from their office usually need to dial a '9' or some other prefix number to make an outside call. If this is the case for you, click on 'Previous' to return to the previous screen, and be sure to type the number into the box.

  7. Most phone systems need a pause between dialing the prefix number and the phone number. Most modems use a comma to request a pause in the dialing sequence. For this reason, be sure to type in a comma after you type your number into the box on the previous screen.

  9. We assume that most people need to dial a '1' to make a toll-free '800-number' call from their home or business. When you click on 'Previous' to return to the previous screen, note that a '1' is already indicated as part of the number sequence.
